Brown's (D-San Bernardino) campaign is announcing an endorsement from the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC). PORAC is a professional federation of local, state and federal public safety associations with more than 900 member organizations, representing over 66,000 officers, making it the largest statewide public safety association in the nation.

In an endorsement letter addressed to Assembywoman Cheryl Brown, PORAC President Michael Durant wrote:
