SUPERVISOR RAMOS BACKS ASSEMBLYWOMAN CHERYL BROWN FOR RE-ELECTION
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (April 7, 2016) – As the only candidate garnering the support from all mayors of the five cities in the 47th Assembly District and the two members of Congress representing this district, Assemblywoman Cheryl Brown (D-San Bernardino) has gained another major local endorsement in her re-election campaign from Third District San Bernardino County Supervisor James Ramos. Supervisor Ramos joins fellow San Bernardino County Supervisor Josie Gonzales in supporting Cheryl Brown for re-election. Both Supervisors collectively represent the entire region of the 47th Assembly District as County Supervisors.
“I am proud to endorse Assemblywoman Cheryl Brown for re-election because she listens to the needs of the community and acts swiftly in Sacramento to get things done,” said Supervisor Ramos. “Her work has helped bring needed resources to our community at a time when the county needs it most. Cheryl Brown is a champion for families living in San Bernardino County and is deserving of another term as our assembly member."
"I thank Supervisor James Ramos for supporting my re-election campaign," said Assemblywoman Cheryl Brown. "It is very important that our elected leaders at all levels of government have great working relationships with one another to get things done. I am humbled that many of our community leaders support my candidacy to continue representing the working families of the 47th Assembly District."
Assemblywoman Cheryl R. Brown is the officially endorsed Democratic candidate of the California Democratic Party running for re-election in California’s 47th district. The 47th Assembly District is located in the heart of San Bernardino County and includes Colton, Fontana, Grand Terrace, Rialto, San Bernardino, and the unincorporated communities of Bloomington and Muscoy. She currently represents the 47th district.
