REDLANDS DAILY FACTS: Assembly hearing in Ontario tackles California’s ‘opportunity gap’
ONTARIO - State Assembly members gathered here Thursday to discuss economic trends throughout the state.
The Assembly committee on Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy were in Ontario for a field hearing to discuss strategies for supporting entrepreneurs, stabilizing communities, and fostering wage growth and long-term household security.
The hearing was held in response to reports showing California’s record economic growth since the recession has not been equitable across the state.
