THE SAN BERNARDINO SUN: Bill would give free tuition for Dec. 2 victims’ relatives
By Ryan Hagen, The San Bernardino Sun
The children and spouses of the 14 people killed in the Dec. 2 terrorist attack in San Bernardino will be able to attend California state schools for free if a bill introduced by local legislators becomes law. Senate Bill 893 would waive tuition and fees for any University of California, California State University or California Community College campus, if the victim and dependent were both California residents on Dec. 2.
